In the 1946 Edo Bregar-Don, DONIT legendary founder, with with few of his peers, with pretty obsolete methods from the before of the first world war, succeed to produced first 38 tons of gasket plates.
One, two years later DONIT built their first manufacturing hall in the area of today's Medvoda and complete first cooperation contract with Factory of Cars Maribor, and supplies first delivery of gasket materials.
In the earlies 1980's DONIT experts made first asbest free plates, made from synthetic aramide rubber, connecting themselfs to the leading world manufacturers of gasket materials. High quality, continuated technology development and environmental and social care are elements which are representing DONIT today.

GASKET MATERIALS (GASKETS) – Products are made as asbest free plates.

Usage:
for sealing of water, steam, air and other gases, oil, fuel, organic and mineral acids, alkalis, solvents in chemical, petrochemical, food, pharmaceutical, car industry, shipbuilding for temperaturs from -80°C to +500°C and pressures up to 1000 bar.

 Tesnit asbest free in plates: BA-202, BA-55, BA-CF, BA-C, BA-203, BA-U, BA-Auto, BA-R, BA-50, BA-GL, BA-N, BA-R300, BA-R302, BA-F, BA-X
Other products: grafilit in plates

All products and manufacturing procedures are made according certificates:

DIN, ASTM, HRB, ISO 9001

1. Soft gaskets
are producing from soft gasket asbest free materials
are using for sealing of water, steam, air and other gases, oil, fuel, organic and mineral acids, alkalis, solvents in chemical, petrochemical, food, pharmaceutical, car industry, shipbuilding
They are using for temperatures from - 80°C to +500°C and pressures up to 1000 bar.
3. Metal gaskets
they are in use where is required big compressibility
materials for metal gaskets are determined according to technical demands of gasket means. Into account is taken mechanical hardness, thermal conductivity, resistance for temperature and corrosion.
Maximum temperature is up to 1000°C, and pressure is up to 45 N/mm2.

 5. Graphite gaskets
asbest free gaskets are dedicated for sealing of flanges, armatures, pumps
excellent sliding properties, they are using when exists danger of "dry working"
they are working as rings or tapes
application area is from -200°C to +700°C
7. Gaskets according sample
with special slang dimensions and forms, according documentation or special customer demands
for specific working condition – temperatures up to 700°C, for example for hot gases sealing, for compensation of unevenness in flanges and similar
they are manufacturing until diameter of 4000 mm

2. Metal- plastic gaskets
are made so that soft gasket material (teflon, graphite, ceramics) are coated with metal lining
as lining are in use stainless steel, copper, brass, monel
recommendation for sealing of flanges, heat exchangers, gasing valves, pipelines, autoclaves and similar...
Maximum temperature up to 650°C and maximum pressure up to 300 bar

4. Spyrometal gaskets
gaskets from profiled sealing tapes and gaskets which are bented into a spiral
gasket tape are made from stainless steel, monels and similar, and as filler are in use graphite, teflon, ceramical tapes. To the gaskets are added external or internal centrated rings.
They are using for sealing of flange connections exposed to excessive vibrations
Depending of the used filler they can submit temperatures up to 750°C and pressures from 10 to 100 bar.

6. PTFE (teflon) braids, cuffs, O- gaskets

they are using for sealing of pumps and armatures
braids can be from clear teflon, and braids with teflon added fillers (graphite, glass, bronze).

8. PTFE (teflon)

semiproducts:
bars and pipes from Φ4 up to Φ300 mm
plates with dimension1200 x 1200 mm thickness from 0.5 to 50 mm
foils with thickness from 0.01 to 1.5 mm, width 1000 mm
